During his time at West Asheville, he served as secretary, custodian, FTH Director, Youth Pastor, CE Director, SS teacher, served on Pastor's Council, and Boys Club teacher.
Pastor Rusty knew God was calling him to pastoral work, so in 2008 he began the process of getting his Ordained Minister's license: first step was to go through the C.A.M.S. program and receive an Exhorter License, then through the M.I.P. program to get his ordained license. He completed these programs to receive his ordained license on February 10, 2011. He came to Calvary Worship Center in 2010 as Associate Pastor/Youth Pastor.
Pastor Rusty has been the Black Hawks varsity football team chaplain/character coach since 2008. He enjoys running, camping, football, cutting hair, socializing and spending time with his wife and kids and VACATIONS!
